Domestic Violence

Domestic Violence refers to actions involving threats of violence or actual physical violence between spouses, family members or partners. Domestic violence law also includes the process of obtaining an Injunction or Restraining Order prohibiting a person from further acts or threats of domestic violence and/or contact with the other person.

Injunctions or Restraining Orders may also apply to persons who are in a dating relationship and have not resided together, as well as other non-related person who have experienced two or more incidents of violence. Domestic violence encompasses as wide range of conduct, including threats, assaults, physical violence, stalking, etc.

Attorney Terry has litigated numerous domestic violence cases, representing both petitioners requesting an injunction, and respondents defending against an injunction. We can assist you in this process and effectively represent you at a hearing on the Injunction.

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9 to 5, with additional times available by appointment. For your convenience, we offer telephone consultations if you are not able to come to our office.
