Relocation of Children

Relocation of Children refers to the process of a (custodial) parent moving or relocating the residence of the minor children. In Florida, certain notices and procedures are required if the (custodial) parent plans to move 50 miles or more from the current home. If these requirements are not followed, negative consequences regarding the relocation or custody of the children may occur.
